Paid Time Off

Kingsbury believes in a healthy work-life balance which includes:

 

Vacation Time

Full-time employees are entitled to vacation time immediately upon hire and again at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.

 

Holidays

While the national average for employer paid holidays is 8 days, Kingsbury offers 13 paid holidays off each year, including being closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.

 

Sick Time for Office Employees

Beginning on the date of hire, Kingsbury offers 5 days of sick time. That number increases to 10 days on your one-year anniversary and each annual anniversary thereafter.

 

Personal Time for Office Employees

All full-time employees are entitled to a maximum of three (3) personal days per year immediately upon hire and again at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Employees cannot carry over unused personal days from year to year. Part-time employees are not eligible for personal time.

 

Personal Days for Shop Employees

Each eligible shop employee is granted 1 personal day for each six months of continuous employment, up to a total of five 5 days, upon completion of thirty months of continuous service. After thirty months of continuous service, add one (1) day bonus and beginning with the next following January 1st, the total personal days allowed per calendar year will be 6.
